A hello letter to Pakistan

Dear Miss Naila Khan and students,

My name is Sue Su. I am the homeroom teacher of class 702. I am also their English teacher. This year, we are so happy to have this opportunity to have you as our partner school and exchange Teddy Bear with you.

My students are all age 13, the 7th graders. They come to school from 7.30 to 5 pm, and eat lunch at school. Some like to play basketball after school. However, most of them will go to cram schools for further studying because the competition for senior high school is intense.

As for our school, San-Min High School is located in Taipei, Taiwan. We are a big school with 2500 students in junior high school and around 1000 students in senior high school. Most of our junior high school students live nearby this area and it’s a must that they have to come to school at this period (age 7 to 15), but senior high school students have to attend a joint examination, and be one of them only if they pass the exam.

We had got your questionnaire and we will try to answer them as soon as possible. But it will take a while because right now we are having a monthly test.
Hope everything goes very well to you.

Best regards,
Sue Su and class 702
